The Dangling Conversation... by KatMPhotography The Dangling Conversation... by KatMPhotography
Funny how smoking used to be sociable...

Smokers are now ostracized from society - treated like social lepers.

Conversations continued outside....

... or often left... just dangling....

smokers used to be looked upon. It was something classy and from higher society but now they treat you like jews from the 2nd world war. Smokers cant go inside this, not inside that, they cant be near this and that. pff

Very true. More people die because of alcohol anyway. Directly and indirectly. a drunken guy driving and killing an innocent child is more lethal than 'second hand smoke'. Pardon me but i've never seen someone faint next to me while I was smoking a cigarette. Oo

In Scotland smoking kills hundreds of thousands a year through direct and indirect (passive) inhalation. Heart disease (through smoking) is Scotland's biggest killer....

... that and Superbugs!

Well all sources say different. Anti smoking sources say the worst pro smoking the best. I guess you just have to see for yourself.

Yeah - and see so many of your family and friends, through smoking either die of cancer or heart problems.

The Scottish are reknowned the world over - and this ain't from any particular 'lobbying' movement to quote you either from an anti-smoking source or pro smoking... they are reknowned the world over for having worst number of cases of heart problems and deaths through the likes of high blood pressure, lung cancer, heart attacks and strokes - we've got the worst record in Europe.

Ever seen a pair of human lungs in an autopsy that once belonged to a smoker???? No?? Well, I suggest you do before commenting any further.

Sadly true. I got nasty and proactive with a waiter on v-day because they wouldn't let me smoke so we moved the rest of the meal over to the bar...a few feet away.
